Early Christian Symbol of Jesus Discovered. Nearly every year, archaeologists make incredible finds off the coast of Caesarea. In 2021 the Israel Antiquities Authority discovered two separate shipwrecks including one which contained a ring engraved with an early Christian symbol of Jesus.

Divers Discover Sunken Cargo at Herod’s Port City. In 2016, the IAA announced the discovery of a shipwreck with a large assemblage of metal including statues and coins. What makes this an unusual find?
